South Bay Grassroots

South Bay Grassroots has been going strong for some time now. We encompass all areas of the South Bay including San Pedro, the Palos Verdes Cities, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, El Segundo, Torrance, Lomita, Gardena, Harbor City, and, well, I think that covers it!

We have a strong operation moving forward with precinct operations. We are continually recruiting because we want City Captains and Precinct Captains in every area. We have started a survey walk in the Palos Verdes cities and San Pedro to gather information and to find more Democrats who want to get involved. We are gearing up to be organized for the November election.

We also have an endorsement process in place and are moving forward with that to identify the local candidates we want to support this fall. We are focusing on City Council and School Board elections in the various cities.

Our tabling events are well received at the local Farmer’s Markets and at other local city fairs. This is a great way to dispense information and to find volunteers to help us with precinct walking, phone calling, and more tabling.
